Movie Review - MirrorMask
MirrorMask (5 of 5): This film is another hallmark of creativity from screenwriter Neil Gaiman and Jim Henson Studios. The movie follows the adventures of a girl in her dreamland as she tries to restore the balance of light and dark in a kingdom that is slowly being overtaken by dark elements. The movie is very engrossing and a visual treat - it all feels very surreal. My only small complaint is that some of the plot elements in the movie seem to be repeated over and over again just for the sake of presenting some new creature or landscape on the screen. I am overlooking this small complaint though because the story and visuals in this movie are so entertaining.
